The Denver Brown Water Society, or "the DBWS", was founded in 2014 by Travis Rue and Reid Page with a simple goal in mind. Get a group of close friends and colleagues together to enjoy fantastic whiskey (aka "brown water") while raising money for great causes here in Colorado. Our ability to get strongly behind two great passions (drinking exceptional whiskey and donating to deserving causes) made the formation of the DBWS an easy one.
The Society partners (primarily) with local small batch distilleries for "tasting events" for its members. Held several times annually, these events give our members the opportunity to sip the latest and greatest brown water available on the market while coming together to raise money for deserving causes. The Society also partners with other generous sponsors such as local and national Whiskey Bars & Libraries, specialty Wine & Spirit shops and other brown water related entities.
The DBWS is not currently accepting new members, but we are always looking for great sponsors, deserving causes and exciting venues to host our events. So please feel free to reach out for more information.
